Hello my name is Joshua Williams and I am the Program Director of Club 212. Right now a lot of people are asking questions about Club 212. I hope this will answer some of those questions but if it does not please email me at jwilliams@afterschooldiscovery.com and don’t forget to check out our Face Book page at www.facebook.com/LJHClub212
What is Club 212?
Club 212 is an after school program that is organized and funded by
After School Discovery (ASD) and is available to students at
Lakeside Jr. High School (LJH) in Ashtabula. When a student joins
Club 212, he or she joins specific clubs that are put on both by ASD
and LJH. The student attends the club meetings and events from 2:30
until 5:15 and then goes home. Bussing will be provided but students
can certainly be picked up by parents.
What clubs can my student join?
Several different clubs will be offered throughout the program. Some
clubs may meet year round while others may meet for only a few
weeks. As for the actual clubs, a brochure for the fall session is
coming soon! I will say that clubs range from drama and dance to
carpentry and mechanics and that every student at LJH should be able
to find something that would be fun, interesting, and exciting.
If not, let us know.
If you’re a student or parent of a student at LJH I hope to see you
soon at Club 212. If you have ideas, suggestions, or comments please
email me.
Thank you for your interest in Club 212!
Joshua Williams,
Club 212 Program Director
