After School Discovery’s Celebrate students will be having a dance on Friday, October 21st from 3:00 to 6:00p.m. Special guest, Tank Jackson, will be on hand to teach the students the latest dance craze.

Patricia Seymour, Executive Director of After School Discovery announced the opening of Discovery Cove, a before and after school care center at the AACS Primary Campus, 2300 Wade Avenue, Ashtabula, on the first day of school, Monday, August 29, 2011.

Discovery Cove is a youth development center that provides services Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to start of school; and end of school to 6:00 pm. The center is closed on all school holidays, vacations and weather calamity days. This service is fee based, with parents paying for only the hours of service received.

The services shall consist of a blend of age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. It is hoped that this bridge between school and home life will help family times to be relaxed and positive.
