Summer of Discovery 2026

 

After School Discovery is offering Summer of Discovery Celebrating 250!, a unique 5 week adventure of exploration and personal growth to a select number of Ashtabula Area City School students at NO CHARGE to the families.  One of our goals for the children who completed the Summer of Discovery program is to be supremely confident and thoroughly prepared for success as they enter school in the fall. 

 

FAMILY CELEBRATION for all programs is Thursday July 23rd at the bus loop of the Wade Avenue Campus from 12 - 3 pm.  We will have field games, prizes and more.

 

Summer of Discovery 2026 is for students entering 1st through 7th grade:

• THEME:  ASD CELEBRATING 250!

• Held at ONTARIO PRIMARY School

• 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays June 23rd - July 23rd

• Children will receive breakfast and lunch provided by through the Ashtabula Area City Schools Nutrition Services Department.

• Students will participate in academic laced lessons in Earth Science, and will have enrichment opportunities along with Guy Time, Girl's Circle, Lego STEM, Strategic Games, Art, Micro Sports, Theater, Fun with Food, and Music.

• Students will be scheduled to attend two field trips off campus

• Transportation to and from the program will be available through Sunset Transportation at no charge
