Summer of Discovery 2014

Summer of Discovery, the After School Discovery summer camp for 2014, welcomes students into our River of Many Fish, available on a spcace limited basis for students completing 4th through 8th grade.

Campers will swim upstream to participate in a summer camp that truly explores new thoughts, new adventures, and new paths to community highlights!

Each camper's unique skill set, personality, and learning style will be brought out through the use of i-Pad based technology and digital lesson plans, weekly exploration visits to a famous Ashtabula landmark, and community service projects that instill an appreciation of nature and home grown, local foods.

Of course, student's creative and active minds will be devloped with opportunities for daily art projects and recreational events!

Summer of Discovery staff include a group of experienced and talented individuals who will amplify each student's skill set and work to assure their daily success. Our goal is for each camper to sustain their academic and social skills gained during the school year, and launch them into the 2014/2015 school year prepared to overcome old obstacles while achieving new academic and social successes!

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. A second three week session from July 7th - July 25th will be offered to students completing grades 6th through 8th.
